Can't I just tap it again and get my apps back?
Yes — and that's deliberate. This isn't a prison, it's friction. The point is that the tile has to be physically in your hand, so quitting stops being a thumb-twitch and becomes a decision. Leave it in another room, keep it in a drawer, or hand it to someone else and the loophole closes on its own.
Which phones does it work with?
Any iPhone that supports NFC, paired with the free Foqos app. ANDROID: fill this in once you've tested and confirmed an app — or say "iPhone only for now, Android coming soon"
Do I have to pay for the app?
No. Foqos is free and open-source. You pay once for the tile, and nothing after that — no subscription, no in-app purchase, no account.
Does it need charging or batteries?
Never. The NFC tag inside draws its power from your phone during the tap. There is nothing to charge, nothing to replace, and nothing to break.
Can my child get around it?
A determined teenager can uninstall almost any blocking app, so we won't pretend otherwise. What we do include is a setup guide showing how to lock the configuration down with your phone's built-in screen-time controls, which makes it far harder to undo. Regular or Pro — which one should I get?
If the tile is going to live on your study desk and stay there, the standard one does everything. If you want it stuck to a fridge, a metal shelf or a monitor stand, or clipped to your bag so it travels with you, get the Pro.
How long does delivery take?
Each tile is finished by hand after your order, so we dispatch within X working days and delivery usually takes X–X days depending on your pin code. You'll get a tracking link by email and WhatsApp.
